77th Korean Congress of Radiology

It is the wish of the Korean Society of Radiology (KSR), the organizing society of KCR, to have the privilege to share its experience and knowhow with colleagues from all over the world through KCR 2021. KSR opened its congress to the international audience in 2007, and since then, the number of sessions conducted in English has continued to increase. This shows the dedication of KSR to share its expertise and grow together with the rest of the world for the future of radiology.

With the start of my presidency, KSR coined a new slogan: “Value-based Radiology for Patients.” In medicine, value-based healthcare focuses on the value created for patients, striving to prolong and improve the quality of their lives. This outlook impacts the way doctors treat their patients. As radiologists, we must play an active and central role in promoting value-based healthcare by managing all our medical practices with the health and quality of the lives of our patients in mind.
