European Cancer Summit 2021

Every year, at the European Cancer Summit, the European Cancer Organisation brings together leading oncology experts, experienced patient advocates, key opinion leaders, policy makers and politicians to discuss key issues in reducing the burden of cancer, saving, and improving the lives of patients and the public. 

This year’s European Cancer Summit on 17-18 November will focus on the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Cancer Mission’s recommendations, including through our nine Focused Topic Networks.

We are planning this year’s Summit as a hybrid event with some speakers and delegates meeting face-to-face in Brussels in a Covid-safe environment, and others joining virtually, bringing together the European cancer community including our Member Societies and Patient Advocacy groups.

The European Cancer Summit is a key event in the cancer policy calendar. Our goal is to showcase the multi-stakeholder, collaborative efforts being made, to ensure tangible results. We believe this exchange will help to improve outcomes for cancer patients and raise awareness of the many significant challenges of cancer. Following the success of the virtual 2020 European Cancer Summit, we have planned this year’s hybrid event.
